The Library of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) is creating an OAI-PMH metadata harvesting service to aggregate metadata describing information resources held by participating CIC Libraries. The UIUC Library will make this metadata aggregation available to end-users (students, faculty, and the general public), both within and outside of the CIC, using appropriate, state-of-the-art search and discovery tools and browsing and navigation interfaces.
