SEARCHES

One of the strengths of DeLIver is that it can search in ways other systems cannot. For example you can:

• find papers written by researchers at MIT on super conductivity
• search for articles with figures whose captions include "Gallium Arsinide"
• retrieve articles which cite papers by Nick Holonyak

DESKTOP ACCESS ANY TIME

DeLIver requires some special, FREE software in order to display figures, tables, and the full text. Please take a moment to download a package to your machine.

SORTING THROUGH RESULTS

DeLIver relies upon the interaction of a number of pieces of software. Each of these has features that can help you find what you are looking for in the articles. In particular, remember to use Netscape's "find" option (and Panorama's) to help you find what you are looking for within the citations the system found or the article itself.

BROWSING

DeLIver offers users a way to browse the collection via the button on the first search page marked "Browse". This will bring you to a list of the journal titles offered in our collection which will each in turn take you to a list of the issues of each journal. Selection of an issue will bring up the table of contents, each title of which is linked to the full text of the article. You may find this to be a quick and easy way to get to journal articles which you know you want, or to simply see what is available.
