dc:Coverage |
Time or Place which constrain the context of the object. |
|
dc:Creator |
The author of a work, both individual and corporate. This may also include an affiliation for individual authors. Affiliations and corporate authors may also include addresses. |

dc:Date |
Any dates relevant to the object, such as paper publication date, date accepted for publication, date it was made available online, etc. |
|
dc:Description |
This will always contain an abstract for the object. |
|
dc:Format |
This will be the MIME type and/or a size in bytes of the object (if known). For some MIME types, the object is dynamically derived, so the size may not be know a priori. |

dc:Identifier |
Any identifiers which can be used to uniquely refer to the object, such as DOI, internal accession numbers, PIIs, etc. |
|
dc:Language |
A code taken from RFC 1766 which identifies the language of the object, such as ‘EN’ for English. |
|
dc:Publisher |
The organization name, possibly including an address, for the entity who published the article. |
|
dc:Relation |
References to related resources. These can include external resources, such as cited or citing works, alternate forms of the current work such as PDF, HTML, and XML, or parts of the current work, such as figures or tables. |

dc:Rights |
This currently includes a boilerplate statement of copyright ownership for the work, and may include a Copyright Clearance Center Code (CCC). |

dc:Source |
This field will always identify the paper publication from which this digital object was derived, including information such as Journal Title, Volume, Page Number, etc. For a digital object for which multiple alternate formats/types is available, this field may also refer to a digital authoritative original from which this object is derived. |

dc:Subject |
This field will always contain a key word, phrase, or code from a controlled vocabulary which describes the object. |
|
dc:Title |
The title of the work as it appears in the work. |
|
dc:Type |
The type of the object such as: collection, dataset, event, image, interactive resource, model, party, physical object, place, service, software, sound, or text. May also include a subtype. |
